By accessing or using Islamabad Diagnostic Center’s online reporting system, website, mobile application, or related services, you acknowledge that IDC may collect, process, store, and disclose information as necessary for diagnostic, operational, regulatory, or legal purposes and that such use constitutes your informed consent to this Privacy Policy in its entirety. IDC reserves the right to modify or replace this Policy without prior notice, and continued use implies acceptance of any revisions.
Information collected may include personal identifiers, contact data, CNIC, demographic details, test information, medical results, device identifiers, technical logs, and communications metadata. Such information may be used for report generation, authentication, messaging of results or access credentials, compliance monitoring, service improvement, anonymized analytics, education, or research performed under IDC oversight. IDC may engage third-party processors, diagnostic affiliates, or communication providers who act under confidentiality and data-protection obligations equivalent to those binding IDC.
Data is stored on secured servers located primarily in Pakistan, though limited technical routing through international networks may occur when messages or notifications are sent via telecom, email, or messaging platforms such as SMS, WhatsApp, or email services governed by their own privacy policies beyond IDC’s control. IDC applies encryption, access restriction, and firewall protection but disclaims any warranty of absolute security, acknowledging that online transmission is inherently vulnerable to interception, loss, or misuse. IDC shall not be liable for incidents resulting from user negligence, weak or shared passwords, network compromise, or events beyond reasonable control including cyberattacks or telecom failures.
User credentials are self-managed; IDC is not responsible for unauthorized access caused by password disclosure or reuse. Users must report suspected misuse immediately. For minors, consent is deemed provided by a parent or guardian who accepts full responsibility for supervision and access. By submitting information, users authorize IDC to process their data for diagnostics, operations, compliance, and lawful purposes, and to retain records as required by medical and tax regulations. IDC does not sell personal information and shares data only under legal compulsion, with vetted research or public health partners under formal agreements, or with regulators pursuant to lawful process.
De-identified or aggregated information may be used internally or with authorized institutions for awareness, training, analytics, or system enhancement under ethical review. Users may request correction, deletion (where legally permissible), or withdrawal of consent by written notice to privacy@idc.net.pk; such withdrawal may restrict future service access. IDC will retain records for the legally mandated retention period or longer where required by regulatory, audit, or legal necessity.
Use of IDC systems constitutes consent to receive credentials, notifications, and transactional messages via electronic means, including but not limited to SMS, email, and WhatsApp, acknowledging that message content may traverse networks or jurisdictions outside IDC’s technical control. IDC bears no responsibility for delays, delivery failures, or data exposure resulting from third-party systems.
To the maximum extent permitted by Pakistani law, IDC, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from unauthorized access, data misuse, service interruption, or any breach beyond IDC’s control. The systems are
provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted operation or total data security. All disputes shall be governed by the laws of Pakistan and fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Islamabad, with mediation recommended prior to litigation.
All rights in IDC’s brand, software, data, APIs, and reports remain the exclusive property of Islamabad Diagnostic Center. Unauthorized extraction, duplication, or repurposing of data or systems constitutes violation under applicable laws. Continued use confirms acceptance of these provisions and of all updates posted by IDC on its digital platforms.
